How do you take down wallpaper border?
I’m painting my room, and right now there is a very ugly seashell border up. It’s stuck on there pretty good, so I can tell it will be hard to get off. Should I paint over it? Take it down? How would you take it down? Any advice? Please?
Absolutely remove it, don’t paint over it, you’ll regret it. There are wallpaper removing solutions available at Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. You can also get a wallpaper scorer, it looks like a little pizza cutter with spikes which you roll over the paper to put holes in it. You score the paper, apply the solution which bleeds through the holes, let it sit for a few minutes, and peel off the paper. Then if there’s any glue remaining on the wall, wash it off with the solution.
